Crosshairs paintball is a paintball organization with a goal. Our goal is to let people know that Jesus of Nazareth died in our place for our sin, which separates us from being in the presence of God Almighty. We do this by our presence on the paintball field. We also hope to sponsor fundraisers for various ministries and have a lot of fun doing it, all while drawing attention to the cause of Christ.
The ministry was started late in the year 2003 by Marty "Moose" Hecker. Marty had been an avid paint-baller for a few years, ever since his wife bought him a paintball marker for Christmas in 2001. The Lord laid on his heart to take something that he loves and make a ministry of it and to use it as a witness for the Gospel. The answer was Crosshairs Paintball.
It actually started out as a team name for a group of Christians from the local church who played together often and who talked about paintball even more often. Where the Lord calls (with ideas for new events) is where the organization will follow.
